Meet the Doctors at Center Stage Kids Dentistry
Dr. Naven Taiym, DDS
Dr. Naven Taiym was born in Chicago and moved to San Antonio with her family when she was five years old. Since then, San Antonio has always been her home. She graduated from O’Connor High School, and then attended the University of Texas, where she earned a Bachelor in Biology. In 2010, she graduated from the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry.
Early in her career, Dr. Taiym discovered her passion for treating children. Over the past 13 years her focus has been in kids’ dentistry. She is certified in pediatric oral conscious sedation and pediatric advanced life support. Dr. Taiym knows that honesty and communication are the keys to the relationships you build with your patients and their parents. She believes that patient and parent education is at the forefront of a lifetime of good oral health. Dr. Taiym is compassionate, fun and has a positive and outgoing personality.
Dr. Taiym is married to a pediatric dentist and together they have been blessed with three boys. When she’s not running around after her kids, she enjoys reading, hiking and gardening with her husband.
Dr. Yusif Mohammad, DDS
Dr. Yusif Mohammad is a San Antonio native, and his family has lived here in the Alamo city since the 1920s. He grew up in the Center Stage area, going to Encino Park Elementary, Bush Middle School and Reagan High School.
He graduated from the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Dentistry in 2012. After spending time working as a general dentist, he returned to the UT Health Science Center at San Antonio to complete an additional two years of specialized training in pediatric dentistry, with a strong focus on sedation dentistry and treating special needs patients. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and served as the president of the San Antonio Academy of Pediatric Dentistry.
He is known for his energetic and down to earth personality around patients, and you may even catch him singing a song or two during dental treatment. When he’s not treating patients, he loves spending time with beautiful wife and three bouncing boys.
