Treatment with oral sedation can be provided for our patients who may feel more nervous or anxious about their dental treatment. Sedation is also helpful for patients with a more sensitive gag reflex, or undergoing a more lengthy procedure. Sedation is also helpful for children with minimal anxiety to provide your child with a more pleasant dental experience when having dental treatment performed.
Nitrous oxide, or laughing gas, can be used alone for older children with minimal levels of anxiety about undergoing dental treatment.
